Dr. Jeffrey Cook, DMD

Dr. Cook graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1995 and has practiced in Yarmouth since 1997. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Maine Dental Association, Greater Portland Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has completed extensive continuing dental education in all phases of dentistry.

Dr. Cook is a native of Pennsylvania and has been married to his wife, Sharon (from Gardiner, Maine), for more than 20 years.They have two sons, Cody and Colin, who are active in the Yarmouth schools. Dr. Cook enjoys time with his family, playing tennis and golf, and coaching baseball and basketball. He is actively involved as treasurer, board member, and pianist at the church his family attends.

Jackie Sawtelle

Jackie has been in the dental field since 2000 and with Dr. Cook’s team since 2008. Attending the practice’s front desk, she is an essential facilitator and enjoys engaging with patients to provide them with excellent dental care.

Jackie has a business degree, is married and has an adult son Ben. She enjoys spending time with her family, birding, reading, and framing.

Cindy Andreasen

Cindy is one of our key team members who helps manage the front desk. You will likely speak with her to schedule an appointment, she’ll provide you with a treatment plan, and she can direct you through any dental insurance questions you may have. She has been employed in the dental field for 20 years and with Dr. Cook and his team since 2013. Cindy enjoys building relationships with our patients and families.

Cindy has two beautiful daughters and has been happily married for more than 25 years. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and long walks outdoors.

Pam Dyer, RDH

Pam graduated from the University of Maine with an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been employed with Dr. Cook’s team since 2000 and brings many years of experience to the team. Born and raised in Yarmouth, Pam enjoys working in the village and seeing patients that have become her “dental family.” She enjoys providing good dental health to all generations of each family and likes seeing how every patient grows and changes with each visit.

Pam is the mother of two adult children. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, kayaking, hiking, snowshoeing, and most of all she enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

Kristin Center, RDH, BS

Kristin graduated from the University of New England with a Bachelor of Science degree. In addition to promoting better home care habits and the education of dietary contributors to oral conditions, Kristin considers a positive approach to patient education her most valuable asset to dental hygiene. She has been with Dr. Cook’s team since 2004.

Kristin is an avid runner and has competed in numerous marathons. She is married and has two adult twin girls living in New York City. She enjoys beach life and her furry kid, Chanel.

Terrie Andersen, CDA, US

Terrie is a Certified Dental Assistant and has worked in the dental profession for more than 25 years. She has been employed in the oral surgery and general dentistry area. She has been employed with Dr. Cook since 2005. Terrie enjoys making her patients comfortable and helping to ease any fears they have of going to the dentist.

Terrie is married with two daughters and enjoys gardening, snowmobiling, and spending time with her family in Moosehead.

Shelly Bennett, CDA

Shelly is a graduate of Dental Careers Institute of Portland. She has been assisting Dr. Cook since 2001. She enjoys all areas of working in the dental office and the friendships made with patients and co-workers.

Shelly has three grown children and two grandsons and loves spending time with them.
